Setting up and owning an online payment clearance system used to be so simple, easy and ... insecure. NOT anymore! New Data Security Standards issued by the Payment Card Industry have changed all of that.

E-commerce now requires a more professional, less cavalier approach. And it's only going to get tougher.

If you own, operate or are planning an e-commerce system you MUST complete a Self Assessment Questionnaire. It has been produced by the Payment Cards Industry Security Standards Council and frankly it is full of common sense.
