Good Luck Dave Searle!
Dave worked with us for approaching 6 years. When he joined us he was a skinny student (we have the photographic evidence still), keen to learn and fulfill his dream since childhood as a software developer. Dave Searle, our longest term employee, has now moved on from Webree, to join on-line publishing specialist, Magicalia.
After starting with us as a "year in industry" student, Dave continued with us through his final year. At the end of this he achieved a 1st class honours from Portsmouth University and settled into his dream career as a web services developer. Dave developed our XPOR system, from the original systems (OR suite). Dave is a top class developer, often heard saying "I LOVE coding". He was given the technical freedom to develop solutions he felt most appropriate and consequently his skill set developed. He also worked on his physical fitness (coding can require extreme physical endurance!) converting himself from his skinny student days frame to that of a healthier BMI.
Dave will be an asset to any company developing a web system.
We are marking Dave's departure with a news item as a mark of our thanks for his work, both on our part as a company and on the part of those customers who benefited from his work. Dave will be missed by us all. We have no doubt that he will miss us too! Hopefully Magicalia will keep him run off his feet and not thinking too much about the "old days".
Good luck to you Dave, from the entire webree team and all the rest of your webree and Portsmouth related friends!
