Central Knowledge Resource |
Bringing Information into a central repository means that it can be effectively assessed and shared across an entire membership. This has long been recognised as the principal of the web. Free services such as WIKI are available to suit some applications. However, maintaining control and copyright over the knowledge may negate these open source methods. Our systems take knowledge management several steps further than simple Wiki’s. Members can describe their expertise / interests OR the system can derive them (from recorded activities). The Knowledge Management system will then focus each member on available resources that match their interests, such as documents, web pages, meetings, videos etc. |
