Broadband Users can change providers more easily now

Changing Broadband providers has never been easier. In the aggressive race to grab new customers, broadband providers are offering some fantastic deals. However, once tied into a provider, it can be difficult to take advantage of the latest service improvement by switching to a different provider. This all hung on something called the Migration Access Code (MAC). If the new provider couldn't obtain the MAC from the old provider then the consumer would face several days / weeks without any connection whilst a new service is installed.

Alternatively, equipped with the MAC, the new provider cam seamlessly switch to their service.

OFCOM has addressed this issue, giving consumers the rights required to ensure they can get the best deal / service.
