Nationally there are 3.3 million ADSL broadband conncetions that are either supplied direct from BT or indirectly via a branded reseller. Including cable broadband connections there are 5.3 million broadband connections active in the UK. However the UK is far still behind many of our European counterparts in terms of Broadband adoption density.
