Software / Web Developer Position Portsmouth - September 2010

We have been developing web based software systems for more than 10 years, and specialise in database driven web applications.

We are now looking for a Web / Software Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have a true passion for software development particularly in the field of web-development.

As part of the development team you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our core products (XPOR, IBIS) along with developing applications for our clients and maintaining existing websites.

You should have knowledge / experience of the following technologies:

• Microsoft .Net (VB.Net & C#)
• Microsoft SQL Server (2000, 2005, 2008)
• Javascript

Knowledge / experience of the following would be advantageous

• Visual Basic (VB6)
• COM / COM+
• C++
• EXTJS (Javascript library)
• Networking (TCP/IP)
• Server / PC hardware maintenance

Previous experience in industry of 1 year or more, and or a University Degree in a Computing discipline would be an advantage but not required.
