Key Recruitment pride themselves on being a "people business", and so wanted to strike the right balance between professional but not too corporate, to ensure their website appealed to both Candidates and Clients.
Following an initial requirements elicitation process, we worked through examples of site designs, to ensure the outcome satisfied this important, subjective criteria. To make the website feel interesting and dynamic lots of movement was included, as well as a video in the header. The distinctive Key Recruitment teal, plus clear sections help to pull the website together.
It was an interesting change for Webree, given that most of our work focuses on Function over Form. We all think the outcome meets the brief and is beautiful! Judge for yourself. Key Recruitment's Website
Whilst working through the aims and purposes for the website we gathered a close understanding of the processes and systems Key Recruitment employ - mostly "Commercial Off-The-Shelf" packages. Whilst it is clear that COTS can provide a relatively low cost, short lead time option to controlling the flow of business critical information, they can also introduce service barriers that staff and clients find too high to cross.
Perhaps future developments with webree might allow staff and management at Key Recruitment to effectively reflect their working practices with a supportive, flexible IT system, rather than having to change their working practices to suit another COTS package. That's our "pitch" and we are sticking to it!
We look forward to a future of working together, enabling Key Recruitment to take control of its service and adapt to the ever-changing recruitment market.
