Yesterday (7th March 2019 ) our MD, Chris Dockree, presented to the southern chapter of the IIBA UK, regarding the current state of play with No Code Software Development Platforms.
IIBA UK is the UK arm of IIBA®, the International Institute of Business Analysis, helping the UK business analysis community to improve their professional practice.
The event, held at the impressive offices of Zurich Insurance, in Whiteley Hampshire, was attended by an eclectic mix of Business Analysts and associated people.
Following on from an inspirational and informative presentation concerning Artificial Intelligence by James Ciesluk, Chris presented an overview of No-Code software development platforms.
The case made was that No-Code Development Platforms offered a realistic alternative to more traditional software development methodologies. Business Analysts might consider how this method of software development has the clear potential to produce better outcomes.
This was reinforced with a video demonstration of a software system being developed by one of our companies analysts. In the light of these developments Chris asked the audience "where next for the Business Analysts?" which was followed by a vigorous Q&A session.
IIBA events are always interesting and worth a couple of hours of anybody’s time, to learn and share effective methods of working in the field of software development.
