If you’ve been following us here at Webree for any amount of time, you’ll know that we’ve been working closely with The Universal Volunteer Network (UVN) for a long time! Using the power of XPOR, UVN are committed to making a difference for Charities and Volunteers across the United Kingdom... and beyond.

UVN have integrated tons of features over their life-cycle, with an incredibly easy-to-use interface, and a very powerful engine that does all the work for you. Charity administrators’ lives have never been easier with UVN!

Some of our favourite features are; the ability to share live volunteering roles - allowing applicants to apply on-the-fly; the ability to authenticate into the system using any social media platform; and most impressively, an automated DBS system.

Here at Webree we hosted a meeting for a little pre-beta showcasing for The Volunteer App with our friends Jennie Brent and Kate Damert.

During our catch-up we demonstrated UVN’s new automated DBS system, which handles the entire process from start to finish - including setting up an appointment to have the documents checked over in person! It’s safe to say, Jennie and Kate were impressed.

Beta testing will be wrapping up soon, and UVN are getting that much closer to having a bulletproof system, already having plans to start rolling it out.
